As much as I'd be the first to buy a ticket to see her, I'd be shocked if Ms. Headley were willing to move to NYC to play Rose twice a week.
LaChanze has built up such an inspiring additional career as theater maker and producer, and I'd enjoy seeing her take on the role.
But oh my, Adriane Lenox could DESTROY that role and scare the living shit out of me. I've been a fan since her breakout in DINAH WAS. Has she been performing in theatre in recent years?
