| Not Sondheim but I got an autographed photo from Nathan Lane in the mail while I was at college and like Sondheim, he wrote "Best wishes" which is why I always sign the same when people ask for my autograph. Nathan was in Laughter on the 23rd Floor at the time and I had no idea how he got my address or knew who I was so I called the theater, just called information! I left a message with the stage door man asking him to call me. And he did! During the show!!! I've written a screenplay about this. It's all true. |
