| If she could have mastered the Scottish accent (then again, she was a big enough star they might have let her do her own), she might have turned her "being a good role model around children" reputation -- after "Mary Poppins" and "The Sound of Music" with this role. But then again, maybe she didn't want to work with kids again so soon after those two films. Then again, another less congenial, more prickly personality role in "Star!" didn't help either, and that had songs (which were the best part of that film). |
