FERRY'S LANDING NYC – a new destination for queer, immersive entertainment – will open this fall in the iconic venue The Duplex, a beloved home to both established stars and rising talent since the 1960s, revitalizing the historic club with unforgettable new performances. Located in the heart of the historical West Village, the upstairs cabaret space has been closed due to fire damage since 2022.

FERRY'S LANDING NYC is a Fire Island-themed space featuring three main attractions: the original stage show Little House on the Ferry – The Musical, a heartwarming and humorous musical set on Fire Island; "Fire Island Follies," a dazzling cabaret performance showcasing diverse talents; and "Farandole Dance Party," a vibrant celebration with electrifying music and dance. Performances begin on October 15, 2024 and run through January 5, 2025. FERRY'S LANDING NYC is produced by Rob Gould and Fever Labs with First You Dream and Ripple Effect Artists. For tickets and further information, visit FerrysLandingNYC.com.

Little House on the Ferry – The Musical, which features book, music, and lyrics by Rob Gould, is directed by Victoria Rae Sook. Packed with witty dialogue, catchy tunes, and scandalously sexy surprises, it's a spectacular celebration of queer love that will warm your heart. With the looming Marriage Equality vote in the New York Senate, found friends meet up on Fire Island for a weekend of passion, politics, and Planter's Punch. Join them on a fantastical journey of queer love, chosen family, and self-discovery, led by a wayward drag queen. Casting will be announced soon.

Fire Island Follies is a naughty, nautical cabaret featuring sensual cirque stars, outrageous comedy, and vibrant vocals. Celebrate a summer of Fire Island love, lust, and liberally poured libations in this cheeky and riotous new event. It's an irresistible evening full of sparkling performances, electrifying music, jaw-dropping drag queens, and adults-only jokes that will leave you in stitches (and maybe a little flushed).

Farandole is a special dance party that start when the other shows finish. Dim the lights and let the DJ spin for these themed, late-night events. Enjoy the decedent beats and delicious go-go dancers, and bring your wildest looks and hottest moves to the floor!

"I'm thrilled to be involved with Little House on the Ferry," comments the musical's director Victoria Rae Sook, "because it's a story that needs to be told. We learn about people who are different from us through theater, art, dance, and music. This show is a chance to teach everyone what it was like to be queer before gay marriage was legal. And, what it is still like now, fighting the war for equal rights, even though that battle was
won."

Rob Gould, FERRY'S LANDING NYC executive producer and Little House on the Ferry creator, adds "I've been working on this production for over a decade. It's beyond my wildest dreams to be bringing it to the West Village, the place where it all began. Collaborating with Victoria has been incredibly creatively fulfilling. We hope the audience will laugh and rejoice by remembering the good times and honoring the struggles that brought us here."

Julian R. Decker, Production Catalyzer and Producer, says; "What Rob Gould has created is a masterpiece in authenticity and it's been wonderful sharing a story of acceptance, inclusion, and whimsy. Audiences can expect a completely immersive experience that allows them to be a part of the story, whether you're just joining us at The Duplex for just the performance, or a sensible cocktail. Come allow your freak flag to fly!"

Tony DeCicco , The Duplex's owner, concludes: "I've wanted this kind of entertainment in our space for the past 30 years. The Duplex has been the launchpad for many great performers and shows. We are so excited to be restoring our cabaret space after such a long and tragic absence with FERRY'S LANDING NYC."
