Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, President/CEO, in memoriam; Scott Ellis, Interim Artistic Director) is pleased to present the new production of Home by Samm-Art Williams, who passed away on May 13, 2024. Not seen on Broadway in more than 40 years, Home is directed by Tony Award-winner Kenny Leon (Purlie Victorious: A Non-Confederate Romp Through the Cotton Patch, A Soldier's Play).

Home will complete its limited engagement on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at the Todd Haimes Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd Street).

The cast features Tory Kittles as "Cephus Miles," Brittany Inge as "Woman One / Pattie Mae Wells," and Stori Ayers as "Woman Two"—all in their Roundabout Theatre Company debuts.

The creative team for Home includes: Arnulfo Maldonado (Set), Dede Ayite (Costumes), Allen Lee Hughes (Lighting), and Justin Ellington (Sound).

The first show of the new Broadway season is the first-ever revival of a modern American classic. And as Time Out New York hails, "Welcome back, Home. You've been missed!"

This powerfully uplifting adventure by the late Samm-Art Williams and staged by Kenny Leon ("Broadway's most essential director," says The Chicago Tribune), is "beautiful, moving, and very funny (The Daily Beast).

Three actors "deliver astronomical performances" (Amsterdam News), portraying over 40 characters and capturing Broadway's heart and soul, as they take you on a 90-minute journey with a North Carolina farmer who travels to the city and back, holding true to his faith, his spirit, and his long-lost love. "Home's return is nothing short of a cause for celebration," says the New York Sun.

A not-for-profit company, Roundabout fulfills that mission by producing familiar and lesser-known plays and musicals; discovering and supporting talented playwrights; reducing the barriers that can inhibit theatergoing; collaborating with a diverse team of artists; building educational experiences; and archiving over five decades of production history.

Roundabout Theatre Company presents a variety of plays and musicals on its five stages: Broadway's Todd Haimes Theatre, Studio 54 and Stephen Sondheim Theatre, and Off-Broadway's Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre, which houses the Laura Pels Theatre and Black Box Theatre.

Roundabout Theatre Company has been working to prioritize and actively incorporate anti-racism, equity, diversity, inclusion and accountability throughout the institution. Read more about the company's social justice progress and timeline at edi.roundabouttheatre.org.
