| I know that putting quote marks around character names is a standard (if not universal) style, but in this case, it seems appropriate. I would definitely say, based on the Tony performance, that Redmayne is playing the "Emcee" rather than the Emcee, and that this is "Cabaret" as opposed to Cabaret. :-) |
