This is terrifying. The play is clearly anti-ISIS but its attackers don't care because its creators aren't Kremlin boot lickers. The two women have been turned into political capital by a thug state. More authoritarian stupidity attacking complexity. It's happening there. It's happening here. It's happening everywhere. Ms. Petriychuk and Ms. Berkovich should be commended for their bravery and their belief that art can get somewhere close to truth.
