| Admittedly I went into this with low expectations (another movie adaptation!) but I was very pleasantly surprised by it. I laughed out loud a handful of times, thought the score was fun and the choreography solid and clever. I think I've seen Rob McClure in one other show, but boy, oh, boy, is his reputation on this well-earned. I heard as of this week the tour has turned a profit, understandable since the audience was packed with families all enjoying a Sunday at the theater. |
