That's interesting! I wonder if they're accounting for inflation, or just going off the hard dollar amount. If it's the latter, you have to assume it's something on the more recent side.
I know this is such a "first thought" answer, but honestly I can't help but wonder if it's Teeth. Musicals tend to be more expensive as we know. And for a few reasons, I'd guess that Teeth was more expensive than some of their other recent musicals like Strange Loop or Unknown Soldier.
If they ARE accounting for inflation, I'd still probably guess a musical (for the same reasons), but you could more plausibly go back further in time. Sunday in the Park with George maybe? |
