Was that definitely the reason? That's not what I've heard. I'm not going to discuss what I've heard as it's only a rumor (and I know from experience that sometimes when I post rumors or surmises and make it clear that's what I'm doing, they may later get restated by someone as fact). Anyway, I would be surprised if in 1985 they gave "I'm Still Here" to Burnett rather than Stritch for the reason you state.

Beyond the rumor I've heard, I would think a big part of the reason was that Burnett was a much bigger name than Stritch, especially in 1985 (Stritch's bigger fame came later), and "I'm Still Here" is a bigger number.
