Fontana's talented, but I wouldn't have given him the Tony for ''Tootsie'' either. (I also think Reeve Carney should've been nominated for ''Hadestown.'')
My favorite Fontana performance is from the CW's ''Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.'' He and Vincent Rodriguez III did a terrific number called ''We Tapped That Ass.'' It was written by Rachel Bloom, Jack Dolgen and Adam Schlesinger, and earned them an Emmy nomination. And Kat Burns did the delightful choreography. |
