I read a time table of the Titantic it was in a set that had a menu and all the passengers and families tickets, postcards etc.And a day to day of the voyage etc. I did not have it when I first saw the orig show but a couple of months, I looked at it. The ones with children also had a nanny with them on the trip, the orchestra kept playing while the ship was sinking so they all died. It also stated that many of the life boats went out with half the amount on it because the passengers didnt think it would sink and so many more would have survived. The Astor bit was true, she didn't want to leave her husband to die so she refused getting in a lifeboat. They really researched this for the show. I loved the show, beautifully done and how lucky I was to have another great evening last night of FOLLIES. |
