Not only were her struggles real, but a few minutes later, in "You're Gonna Love Tomorrow," Fernell Hogan was using the same mic stand, and when he was unable to adjust the height of the stand, he had to pull the mic out of the stand and hold it. It was noticeable that his three co-stars were using their mic stands while he had to hold his mic. (And that he handled the moment better than Leavel did.)
Like you, I don't know why the crew didn't notice this and replace the defective stand. |
