| Reminds me that when Cary Grant was cast in the Cole Porter (highly fictionalized) biopic NIGHT AND DAY, a friend of Porters commented to him that perhaps Fred Astaire would have been a better choice to play Porter because Astaire had more of a resemblance to the composer. Porter replied something to the effect of: if you had the chance to have Cary Grant play yourself, wouldn't you take it? |
