The prices have been obscene from the start and the main reason it has recouped
It's sad that many will not have been able to see it and that many of us paid what should have been Orchestra prices to sit in New Jersey(aka the balcony)
It's also sad that after finally becoming a hit it is closing...why not replace and run longer? Sondheim shows never fail to attract good names. Now it is ending and we won't get another one for a long time(though maybe the next one will have a decent sized Orchestra)
I also wonder is the Hudson and it's ATG ownership the only theatre with such outrageous prices for anything that plays there? Even a quick glance at MATTRESS seems pricier than the more reasonably priced Audra/Gypsy. I think(hope) MATTRESS will be on TDF
