Tales of the South Pacific by Michner into the musical South Pacific into the movie South Pacific into Glenn Close TV movie South Pacific into the Reba's South {Pacific concert into he PBS Great Performances South Pacific revival with Kelly O'hara.

Well, the Michener novel, the musical, and the original Gaynor/Brazzi film musical yes - but I think revivals and concerts with the exact same material are beside the point of the thread. Otherwise we could point to all sorts of productions of a whole lot of shows. There's a production of the show going on in Boston right now, but that doesn't count, neither would the Kelli O'Hara revival, because they're not new adaptations of the source. If someone did, say, a non-musical movie or play based on the same story, that would count.
