Everything I have heard from folks who have seen it has been extremely positive. Some reports have said that there are some house beats layered into the score, but the compositions are largely unchanged.
One report I read said “This is the first time I’ve seen ‘Cats’ actually make sense.’”
I wouldn’t be surprised if we see this move uptown next season. The Circle in the Square seems to be available after “Romeo & Juliet.”
