But the individual circus acts work well in the show but were lost in the clutter on Tony stage. That opening song is ok on stage but certainly not an attention grabber to sell tickets.
I had no idea what was going on in that number. None. And I didn't understand what the lyrics of the song had to do with anything that was going on either. |
