| I don't think the Palace was ever a viable event or gala space. The auditorium is grand but its foyer was small and opened directly on Seventh Ave. Now it seems that the common spaces are just as cramped if not even more so. Maybe it's been designed to open up to adjoining hotel space but my guess is that that is not the case. |
