Yes - thank you for mentioning Passion. Moments like Giorgio's letter "How can I describe her, the wretchedness..." and of course "Is This What You Call Love?"
And then, sometimes a harpsichord is just a harpsichord, as in the "secco recitative" moments in the Grand Canal sequence in Nine, the whole thing an operatic pastiche. |
