| I'd agree that Nick was an absolute delight in ''How to Succeed,'' especially following in the fun footsteps of Daniel Radcliffe and Darren Criss. But whatever happened to the ''Jersey Boys Live'' (2022) he filmed with Andy Karl? (Not to be confused with Clint Eastwood's tin-eared 2014 film version.) As for Jason Robert Brown's ''The Last Five Years,'' I've been following it for the last couple of decades: from its 2001 debut at Chicago's Northlight Theatre, starring Norbert Leo Butz and Lauren Kennedy, to Off-Broadway, with Sherie Rene Scott and Butz. Plus, there was the 2014 movie adaptation with Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan. And the last time I saw it onstage, the wonderful pair of Zak Resnick and Margo Seibert did it at A.C.T. in San Francisco in 2016. |
