I wrote about this before. I was sitting on the right side at appropriate two seats in, and I rarely saw the action fully during the show which I believe colored my appreciation of it. If I have been sitting on the opposite side, I would’ve seen everything as they rarely used stage right for any of the acting. The Director of this show and the stage designer should be castigated for their choices. From any seat, the audience member should be able to see more than 90% of the show.
Directors should sit in different seats so that this doesn’t happen. |
