| I'm almost 60 and I feel that I missed the age of Judy and Barbra worship. I was three when Judy died so she was always a figure from the past, and when I became aware of Streisand she was starring in (what seemed to my cynical young eyes) lame comedies or overblown melodramas. I've come to appreciate them but I don't think I have the thrill that you hear in recordings of Judy's Palace or Carnegie Hall concerts or Babra's Vegas return. |
