| I mean SERIOUSLY, can we talk?? I see long threads about "Oh, I'm so excited about FLOYD COLLINS!", "Oh, it's so thrilling that the most brilliant actor who ever lived, Robert Downey, Jr., will ACTUALLY be deigning to appear on stage for us and act live and in person for us!!!", etc. etc....... Yet I see nobody on this board addressing what is perhaps the most important question that TalkinBroadway.com has ever grappled with..... WILL Matthew Morrison, in the heralded December 9 SOUTH PACIFIC reunion concert, finally embody the Joseph Cable that Rodgers, Hammerstein, and Logan created, in all the character's 1942 unshaven glory? OR will Morrison once again insist- against the very VEHEMENT objections of this board- on violating every iota of Rodgers, Hammerstein, and Logan's intentions by anachronistically and FLAGRANTLY waxing his treasure trail?!?!?!? (I'm sorry if I seem heated up about this, but I just remember when these kind of questions were taken seriously on All That Chat) |
