| Well, if you're any kind of high-profile theatre (or even a lower profile theatre that does enough advertising), and you don't have the rights to the songs, it's very easy nowadays for the rights holders to threaten a suit, or send a cease and desist order. MTI is simply offering their rules on how to do it legally. And if they know you're doing a show like this, they may check up to make sure you're sticking to the contract. |
