So LCT is having 3 big fundraising events in less than a year: the Vanya, Sonia, Masha and Spike reunion reading last month, the South Pacific reunion concert in December, and a 40th Anniversary celebration in May 2025. I hope their donors have deep pockets!
I'm very excited about the South Pacific reunion concert; I wonder if calling it a concert means that they are not doing all the dialogue in the show, or if it just means "this is not fully staged; have appropriate expectations." In any event, that production was magnificent, and I'm happy to see that cast reunited. It looks like all the principal and featured performers are signed up except for the kids; I hope they find some way of including them. |
