The Daily Beast is asking me sign up. This has never happened before, and I don't feel like doing it. But Waiting for Godot had already been filmed in the Mojave Desert. This was a production by Ralph Waites's Los Angeles Actors Theatre, which was then shot in the desert for PBS. This was in 1977. Waite played Pozzo, Donald Moffat was Vladimir, Dana Elcar was Estragon, Bruce French was Lucky, and Todd Lookinland was the Boy.
