There used to be a lot of WeWorks around, but with company problems, they should be renamed WeOuttaWork.

They were popping up all around NYC, but now many have closed locations. But there are still some types of business companies around that you can rent as a temporary office, even by the hour, but, of course, for a different purpose than Elsie infamously did in the song "Cabaret"

I'm still kind of upset with WeWork for buying the former beautiful Lord & Taylor department store on 5th Avenue and apparently running out of money to not restore and use it. The guru entrepreneur who started it apparently pocketed a lot of cash on the way out of the sinking ship in something like a legal buyout, and only recently tried to take another swig of the bottle for more money and his former position before finally bowing out again. But one of the premier department stores is now practically all boarded up with no tenant since apparently WeWork didn't work out there.
