Funny, I sat at a front table for RAGTIME too and thought it was too close. Plus, I wanted a better view of the orchestra.
For this concert I sat in the first balcony about halfway into the house. I thought it was a great view. One thing: the actors enter from stage left, so I would recommend sitting on the house left side--this vantage point provides a better view given how Danieley staged some things. Just my two cents. |
