lowwriter, thank you so much for posting! I've been VERY curious to hear more about this production, just because I admire Tituss Burgess's talent so much. We've all known for more than a decade what a voice he had, but after he showed off such incredible comedy chops on "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" I've turned my head to see what else he could do.

As mentioned here a few weeks ago, his performance in season 2 of "Schmigadoon" was one of the star-bright highlights in a star-studded cast.

I started following his social media, and so often his quips and takes are SO funny and original that I've long thought that he could be a really original, incisive, clever writer -- so glad to hear that it's already in good shape and has potential for development!

Needs to be said: there are not enough musicals on Broadway that are written and developed by Black creators, and I really hope that non-Black audiences (and INVESTORS) will see the value in nourishing works like this one. Really rooting for this project to have nice long legs.
