They used to highlight selections from plays -- "Peter and the Starcatcher" got a presentation on the awards not too long ago.

There's no clear criteria for being featured on the show -- you don't have to be nominated for a single award and can perform, like "A Beautiful Noise." You can be a cruise ship show and be featured.

But to not feature the most nominated play in history? One that deals with subject matter that is actually interesting to most people? One that is doing well at the box office? Lunacy.
