Thanks for highlighting. I really enjoyed it and I have never seen the sequel. Frankly, i never had much interest in it until today.
The reunion was great. I missed the top so I’m not sure if Lauryn Hill sent in a video like some other cast members who couldn’t attend. So many cast members were back though, especially the now grownup kids. I think there were 15 people or so on set - Including Sheryl Lee Ralph! The cast performed Joyful, Joyful at the end with Whoopi “back in the habit.”
It did make me think briefly that this could make an interesting musical filled with promising young talent. Not sure the name Sister Act 2 would sell tickets but the concept could. |
