| Agreed. And also, with the exception of Jersey Boys (I just really liked the theatricality of the show in general), I tend not to be interested in the bio-musical genre. Jukebox shows that use the songs in a new context (Head Over Heels and Rock Of Ages being two examples, and of course Mamma Mia) tend to work better for me, as there's something else going on beside the familiarity of the songs. |
