| Not for nothing, but also, Sondheim very very rarely used anyone else's music in his scores, except ironically (like the Sousa marches in "How I Saved Roosevelt," and of course "Hail To The Chief" in the same show - in 3/4 time), so knowing there was really no way around "The Power of Love," he probably wouldn't have been very interested in the property. |
