Loved the casting for Reprise’s FOLLIES, way back when, with Harry Groener as one of the best Buddys ever. Since it’s just two nights and it’s FOLLIES, it might attract a lot of people from beyond SoCal.
I also wonder if this will be “concert,” as in just the songs as in Carnegie Hall, or if it will be concert style, as the Reprise or the 1985 FOLLIES IN CONCERT.
Finally, reading the fine print tells me that a season subscription gives you the four plays…and one of the “concert events,” FOLLIES or ANYTHING GOES. Not both. One.. I read this out loud to my youngest, who quoted Bloody Mary’s famous line from SOUTH PACIFIC.
