I'm curious where they start pricing for this. While there's definitely a demand for tickets to see Audra on this website, I'm not sure she's ever been the lead in a Broadway show that recouped besides Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill. (I'm counting Ohio State Murders, Frankie and Johnny, Shuffle Along, Porgy and Bess, 110 in the Shade, and Marie Christine.) Some of those were at non-profits, but they were not tough tickets. I hope the producers price this smartly.

I also don't know if Rose is a natural fit for Audra's gifts in the same way that it was for Patti LuPone. Audra's has upended my expectations in the past, though, as with her Billie Holiday, and I hope she will this time as well.
