| I don't think we "feel" that... I think it's evidently and observably true. (I don't want to see him fail, if for no other reason than I want any theatrical venture to be profitable these days, and I want there to be bankable theater stars... even if daddy bought him many opportunities, like this one for example, I do think he's extremely talented. If talent were the only criteria, then I'd be expecting to see Amber Grey doing 3 weeks at The Palace, or even Judy Kuhn!). I'm not rooting against Platt, I'm laughing at Hubris... on a theater chat board. And as for, "Ok fine. Next..." yes... sure... but next to what? This is a chat board, no one said we were discussing consequential things or that it was a place for necessary conversations or even a good use of time! lol. I think one or 2 threads with, what 8-15 posts in each, is pretty expected and tame for a theater chat board when something like this is happening. I might not stand out as much if this board weren't like 1/3 less active than it used to be, if not more. Maybe that's my perception, but the board has really slowed down in the last few years. |
