One more reason to avoid the ATA

This is just bizarre, and insane, and - I would add - one more reason to avoid ATA at all costs.

As a reminder, this musical is set during the Holocaust. Contrast this with the play October 7, which is currently running at the Actors Temple Theatre (blocks away from the ATA theater, and an actual temple to boot), and is about - as you might imagine - the ACTUAL EVENTS bound up with the current protests.

I saw October 7 - and I will say the security getting into this theater was INSANE. I have never experienced anything like it in my life - not even when flying right after 9/11. I would say the way people were being searched (at least when I went) were far too intrusive and I can only hope this was due to a lack of training and that perhaps the staff have figured out a better balance by this point. But the larger point here - it is happening. The show hasn't been cancelled, and I haven't heard many (any?) reports of protestors. (I won't say anything here about October 7 as a dramatic piece or as a documentary piece. I'm just noting that the show is happening.)

The owners of ATA have no business running a theatre. I've known this for years and this is just confirmation.
