I saw her in those three as well, and felt her Amanda Wingfield was among the finest, if trapped in an ill-conceived production with a dreadfully prosaic set, overthought direction, and an inappropriate TV movie-ish Tom (recast in previews). The role was so such a good fit for Lang, the synergy shocked me. Her Mary, just a tour de force. Her stage chops are the real deal. |
