I meant the previous post, which read

I think racial casting - particularly black/white casting - is in a different league altogether because of our shameful history of minstrel performance, etc. It's a much more visceral and emotional issue for many. Likewise, what we now call yellowface, which wasn't even a term for way too long.

Which I read as discounting yellow face, and wasn’t quite sure why Chromolume was doing that. But again, if we’re talking about blackface and minstrel shows, the 20th century is “more recent”, and I was thinking in that time frame and trying to be generous because of my respect for Chromolume.
