| KA was produced by my idea of a (very) "smart" producer, the opposite of the producers of the shows discussed in the article. The costs were not high and likely were reduced during the run from the offering papers. And I think it is the sort of show that has a good shot of recouping on the road. SLIH was just not a show that found much love and, again, it may surprise you to hear me say it also did not have an experienced producer. I don't think the Tony would have changed that all that much. |
