In general, I don't mind tech-related audio/visual warnings like gunshots or other loud unexpected noises, or strobes, etc. It's the plot-oriented warnings that I start having trouble with, because I feel that any show can start to be dissected too far. I understand that if you've had a personally traumatic situation that is suggested, or happens, as part of the plot, that can be at very least upsetting and possibly much more disturbing. But no one should have to try to account for every possible instance of that, and where does one draw the line? It's a slippery slope, and I think it just invites problems.

Ever watch those prescription drug ads on TV and hate the long long disclaimers about harmful side effects? I understand that they have to do that legally. I'm glad that, at least currently, theatre doesn't have to.
