I seem to recall that Cassandra's character implied she was Caribbean and that her gift for soothsaying might've been due to voodoo.
Anyway, Shalita Grant got a Tony nomination and received a Theatre World Award for ''Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike.'' I Googled to find out what she's been doing: Grant appeared a few seasons on CBS' ''NCIS: New Orleans,'' was on Netflix's ''You,'' and guested on ABC's ''Abbott Elementary.'' |
