Kristine was crying at curtain call and I can understand why. She gave an extraordinary performance in a magnificent play in a part she was born to play. Add to it the tragic loss of Durang and I believe her tears reflected her happiness of going back to a play that is so meaningful to her, playing with the original company and also the sadness of Durang's passing. The humanity of the character and performer touched me deeply. I am glad I was there.
