I thought the magic was more comical than anything else. I'm not sure what show to compare it with. Definitely not as stunning as Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The show works as a comedy. It was only a second preview but (for me) the songs and dance numbers didn't do much for a very long show.

Truthfully, I had not intended to post anything about Death Becomes Her at all -- I saw it Wednesday of last week. I wanted to praise Purpose, which is quite good.

I read some very, very negative stuff earlier this morning (the comments are down lower on ATC) and felt that I should say something positive about my experience, which was mixed but enjoyable (for $30).
