I've been saving my playbills since 1989 (when I met my partner who was a frequent theatre goer and I was a baseball coach and sports freak). I keep them in plastic sleeves in tri-fold binders, 2 playbills per sleeve, 31 sleeves per binder. Playbills from New York trips are stored chronologically from 1989 to today -- 12 binders so far. Playbills from London and Canada are likewise stored chronologically but separated by country. The same for playbills from Wisconsin and Indiana local productions. Touring productions I have seen in Illinois and Wisconsin are stored chronologically but not mixed with local productions. Playbills from Chicago area productions are stored by venue or theatre group but then chronologically. Also ticket stubs and flyers.

I own my own home so storage is not a huge problem. Yes, I do look through them all the time, sometimes daily. They bring back pleasant memories.
