| I happened to see your production, Erik_Haagensen. I was very happy to have the chance to see it and hear a beautifully sung live performance of the score. I didn't think the show worked dramatically, though. The individual stories didn't seem to add up to much and ending at the point in history where it did seemed not a logical or satisfactory climax. Definitely subpar work by Lerner and probably best for his reputation to be supressed. I found it a museum piece, but one worth seeing. I hadn't known that you reconstructed the script. Thanks for your work! |
