At the height of MODERN FAMILY I could see it happening, but now? He didn't have time to become a pillar of the community before he decamped to SoCal, although I am glad he's dedicating himself to stage work as much as he is. I love him and would be happy if he hosted but I think he'd best be paired with someone.

Iain Armitage unnerves me a little. He always has, ever since he was a kid. I know everybody kvelled like crazy, but I don't know: maybe he reminded me of myself at that age. (Although God knows I didn't have his eloquence or insight at...what was he?....four?)

If there was a veteran you could pair him with it might be nice. Bernadette or Audra or someone that he adores. (I'm thinking of the beautiful energy between Tracy Chapman and Luke Combs at the Grammys singing "Fast Car": I was in tears watching them look at each other with love and admiration.)
