I watched, or mostly listened to, the concert today and thought it was really great, for the most part.
A nice big orchestra, plus lots of musical theatre performers, beautiful songs (some still bring a tear to my eye, even poor cynical me). My favorites: Audra McDonald, Julian Ovenden, Aaron Tveit, Patrick Wilson, Michael Ball, Daniel Dae Kim. A good number of folks I didn't recognize. A couple of EGOTS.
