I don’t usually like to see the same show over and over. I’ve never understood anyone wanting to see rent or phantom 100 times. I saw phantom around 6 times over 30 years.
So a season with several mediocre new musicals is actually more interesting than 1 great new musical and a bunch of revivals like many seasons have. I’ll see the latest bunch in a few weeks and I doubt I’d see any of them a second time even when on tour. |
